Away Days Collection
Football culture doesn’t stop at the final whistle. It follows supporters onto trains, through stations and across borders, wherever the away leg takes them. Umbro’s new Away Days collection pays tribute to that pilgrimage, and the people who make it season after season.
Shot across platforms, departure boards and the in-between spaces of transit, the campaign captures that particular kind of anticipation, the hours before kick-off spent moving through a city that isn’t yours. Luggage in hand, kit half-hidden under a jacket. The waiting is part of the ritual.
The collection draws on terrace culture and the Casuals movement of the 80s and 90s, when English fans travelling to Italy first blurred the line between football and fashion. Signature pieces include the Shersey, an away jersey reworked with formal shirting details, the Pinstripe Drill Top, bringing 90s training wear into a sharper contemporary shape, and the Trench Coat, a nod to the coaches once seen wrapped up pitch-side. Manchester and Milan sit at the heart of it, British tailoring meeting understated Italian sophistication.
Devotion, destination, dress, Away Days brings all three together in one confident read on what it means to follow the game away from home.
