Coffee first. Then football. That was the order in most Italian households across Melbourne, whichever village you came from, Calabria, Sicily, Napoli, Abruzzo. The accents changed, the Sunday didn't. Mass in the morning, calcio in the afternoon, and a jersey handed down like it meant something. Because it did.

This edition follows some familiar faces around Melbourne's inner north. Carl Valeri, Socceroo, Azzurri blood, a career built on both sides of the world, pictured catching up with a lifelong mate at Pausa Pranzo, their go-to Italian coffee spot. Enzo, still behind the pizza oven at Pizza e Vino in Northcote, jersey on under the apron. And coming up behind them, a new wave of NPL talent carrying the same heritage into the next generation.

The shirt itself pulls from Italy's icon Azzurri blue, the tonal print running through the fabric, the tricolour trim on the cuffs. 

 A jersey that still fits three generations later.
