Umbro x Slam Jam: House Rules

Umbro has teamed up with Slam Jam to explore the space between the lounge room and the pitch. The collection pulls from the visual language of old British homes: folk patterns, cottagecore textures, and reworks them into a football wardrobe. Home, here, isn't just where you live. It's where you get ready, where you wait around, and where you recover.

The first half of the collection looks inward, at the small rituals around matchday. Wallpaper-inspired prints, traditional knit patterns, pearl buttons, velvet tracksuits, foulards with masked-eye graphics, caps, wool beanies, and a fanny pack bring familiar domestic touches into a football context. The knitwear sits somewhere between fan memorabilia, hand-me-down craftsmanship, and terrace uniform.

The second half turns things up a notch, more controlled, more polished. Think authority, regulation, concealment. Censored kits and masked details give this side of the collection a sharper, more institutional edge.

Together, the two sides play off each other, intimate against controlled, familiar against institutional. It's the domestic world of classic British interiors, dropped straight into the codes of football culture.
